📋 Match Rules & Format
TCT 5 will be played under a fast-paced, competitive format designed for maximum excitement:
- Overs Limit: Each innings will consist of 7 overs.
- Players per Team: Teams must field 8 players.
- Bowling Restrictions: To ensure balanced participation, the bowling limit is strictly enforced:
- ALL Players are limited to a maximum of 2 overs each.
- Rule 4: Umpire Decision will be the final decision
- Rule 5: 3rd and 4th Over of every inning will be BOWLED with a PINK ball
- Ball Change: The fielding team must switch the ball specifically for the 3rd and 4th overs of both innings.
- Rule 6: Every team will play 2 matches to qualify for the finals
- This sets the structure for the initial qualification phase. It means:
- Each team’s total points, wins, or ranking after exactly two matches will determine their standing.
- Rule 7: According to the Cricheros we will decide the finalist
- This refers to the ranking system used to determine which teams advance to the final after completing the 2 qualification matches:
